Its for gaming of course. Now I'm under the impression that the best looking picture you can get is still from a CRT monitor. So...
1) Money isn't a problem
2) Anything goes CRT/LCD
Suggestions?
Looking to get a bootyful new monitor. Would like some input

Yeahp. This is what I recommend if you want a great gaming monitor. It will likely be my next purchase. They aren't super cheap: $1200 retail, though you can find it for around $900-$950 if you look hard enough. If the higher price tag doesn't scare you off, here's what you should know:
The game needs to support 1920x1600 to take full advantage of the wide, massive screen real estate. However, for games that don’t, I'm told the built-in stretching algorhytm works quite well. The refresh, contrast etc. are very good.
Cheers,
Loon

Playing through DS2 lately. Disbanded from Alarius and posting my retirement from EQ in a few days. I'm keeping EQ1, EQ2, and SWG active and installed but rarely load them. There's a DnD rts coming out which I expect to be good and hoping the DnD online game is worth trying. Between that and downloading interesting video clips, my time is all sucked up.
