Tech Help - EQ Connectivity
Hey, im trying to connect to EQ through a wireless network but it refuses to connect. It also does this when i try to connect to Steam(Half-Life). my computer has no problem with this stuff when im using a hard wire. I dont think its a network problem because I have seen other people connect to WoW wirelessly. Any Ideas on what could be doing this? I have both windows and my 3rd party firewall off. Thanks

You must have been looking at his magelo profile. His EQ profile is even more pathetic.Surlley wrote:Eq has been out for how long - and your warrior is using that crap. I think my eyes started bleeding just looking @ the piece of shit you put on your warrior.
come on man just strip it and ebay - itll be simpler than trying to get it to work on the wireless network.

Re: Tech Help - EQ Connectivity
This something that happened recently? Like say, within the last month or so, following a windows patch or anything by chance?Salimin Darko wrote:Hey, im trying to connect to EQ through a wireless network but it refuses to connect. Not that I recommend it, but I had a similar problem after a windows upgrade connecting to certain internet based items. I don't think EQ was one of them, but I haven't been playing much either. I could get on messenger, browse the web, but couldn't connect to my work's RAS site, for one thing.
Windows Firewall got enabled, even though I had set it not to, since I have my own firewall setup. As soon as I disabled Windows Firewall, my wireless connection worked fine. I'm sure it's indicative of a different setup issue, but I haven't had time to figure out what yet. Anyways, just a thought.
