So they are using the unproven theory of global warming as reasoning to change the Earth's orbit and somehow think this unproven theory is gonna fix everything without causing even more unpredictable problems?

I was under the presumption that if every human being on the planet jumped at once it would cause massive seismic events on a global scale. Somehow I think cracking the crust of the earth is gonna fix global warming.
