someone was calling FV a charlaton. a charlaton could be considered a rogue like person or entertainer (read rogue/bard) . Bards are arrogant and therefor would be insulted to have some gimp pally goddess be confused into the magnificence of thier class.
bards arent egocentric. we know we're the bomb diggity

^ is obviously confused.
We as Bards are not arrogant, we just like the sound of our own voice.

Wow. I'm glad I bailed out on that mess months ago. I found World of Warcraft, saw how much it pwned EQ, and went with it. It's nice not having to wait for hell to freeze over just to recover from rez effects, I enjoy the fact that instead of losing hard earned exp and levels that I just have to get my crap repaired for a handful of silver, and most of all, I enjoy the fact that any class can pretty much solo. No one class sucks over the others - sure, warriors got the shaft yet again as far as dps goes, but at least they're the masters of tanking and aggro management like they should have been in EQ.
I think, though, I love the fact that it's just a better game. Less bugs, less camping, far less time to complete quests. Y'know, I got tired of waiting for two weeks for a mob to spawn, only to have it ganked by someone else doing the same quest, and having to wait two more weeks just to get it ganked again because I had to work that day. Nowadays, I wait maybe 20 minutes at most for my mob to respawn, hit it once, and then I can take all the time I want in killing it because KSing doesn't exist. You hit it first, it's yours, no argument. Someone else hits it first... well, shoulda been faster. Use a bow, an instant cast spell, warrior charge... something that hits the damn thing first. And if someone else gets it anyway, don't whine - it'll be back in just a few minutes. Content yourself in killing the numerous mobs nearby - surely your trade skills will thank you, as you don't have to generally run all over the world looking for one stupid item that only comes from a high-end mob that you have no chance in hell of killing!
So... yeah. I'll pay my $30 to Blizzard, get a nice thick instruction manual that's fun to read, a map that I seem to have lost, a better game that's fun and exciting for all day or just a few minutes, less rampant bugs, and a slightly less cheesy economy. (okay, maybe some things never change... oh well.)
