The MPAA can trivially go for anything under the .com domain simply by pulling their DNS record, given that domain is US based. They also have agencies in most nations around the world which can shut down web sites fairly easily as well.
Pretending that your site being outside the US is any sort of protection from legal issues it ridiculous when you are blatantly hosting links to pirate material. Also remember that torrents are essentially designed to make it trivial for law enforcement to find out who is hosting and sharing which files. It's an open protocol which spams your IP address all over the place - from the *tracker*, not from your own PC - which means that denying blocks of IP addresses to your own machine (the lamer's excuse for protection) is futile.
Barrin's correct - scare tactics work just great. Do you have the $$ to fight the MPAA's lawyers? Probably not, and nor does your web host.

Like i say though you want filez spend the 10 or so bucks a month and get all you want from newsgroup's ( most isp's block binary but if yours doesnt then boom you get all the filez you want for free no extra charge)
