Croinc,

You have no class. Using my favorite team to take a cheap shot at me when you have nothing else is pathetic. But I wont blame you.

My Seahawks lost. That's all there is to it. I have nothing else to say on the matter as I am still too numb from shock to think of anything productive. There are no excuses, there are questions, but there is only one result: Seahawks 3 - 1.

One game at a time. Foxboro is next.

They play the Dolphins twice, so they go 2-14, if the Fins go 0-16.

I actually think they'll split the season series and both teams go 1-15

I'm annoyed by my Vikes.

They won, sure, but giving up a 21-point lead to be forced to go into overtime... sad.

Hey at least your team pulled it off Beek. Not only did the Seahawks lose that way, but so did the WSU Cougs. in ALMOST THE EXACT SAME WAY.

This was NOT a happy household this last weekend.

8 - 6 last week, I'm going downhill fast.

Overall: 47 - 29, still good 64.5 % of the time.

Washington @ Chicago: Redskins should be playing better then this. Gonna have a lot of injuries this week. Chicago has a tough defense, and Urlacher is gonna play. Chicago offense can do enough on the ground with Washington's defense banged up. Redskins 17, Bears 20.

Miami @ Buffalo: Miami is going to go 0-16. And they're starting Fielder again. Hell, even the Bills can beat Miami. Buffalo, however, has angered the football gods by being really stupid during the Patriots game, allowing the streak to continue, so they'll win, but look bad doing it. Dolphins 0, Bills 3.

San Diego @ Atlanta: Chargers are playing good football, beating some tough teams. Defense needs work still. Falcons got upset last week, and will look to make a statement at home against the Chargers. Should be a good game. Chargers 20, Vick 23.

Houston @ Tennesse: Carr is turning into the 4th Quarter Bandit, stealing some interesting comebacks and it doesn't seem to matter who they're playing. Tennessee has McNair back and played like it last week against an abysmal Packer Defense. Texans 24, Titans 27.

Carolina @ Philadelphia: People can run all over the Panthers, but they don't have as much success passing, which is all the Eagles do. Unless Andy Reid wants to suddenly get a ground game going, then the Panthers could possibly pull off an upset here. Without the offense necessary to do so, the Panthers wont. Eagles are solid. Panthers 17, Eagles 24.

San Francisco @ New Jersey Jets: 49ers seem to be doing well on offense, but at really weird times. Rattay is trying to be Carr's Clone I think. They have a much tougher team to play this week. Jets are flying high on all cylanders right now, and the 49ers wont hold them down too much. 49ers 20, Jets 27.

Seattle @ New England: Game of the week, but only because New England has that stupid winning streak going. Nothing that New England has done has proven to me they deserve to be undefeated. Seahawks are pissed after last weeks loss and will fight tooth and nail. Honestly, this game could go either way, but since I'm a hometown boy, I gotta take my birds. Seahawks 27, Patriots 24.

Kansas City @ Jacksonville: KC has a great running offense that gets around the edges, something Jacksonville has shown they can't stop. Jacksonville has been exposed and their possible playoff season is over without an offense to keep them going. Chiefs 24, Jaguars 17.

Green Bay @ Detroit: Would you believe the Lions have the better defense? It's true. Packers 20, Lions 28.

Cincinnati @ Cleveland: Palmer is still learning, but unless they win here their season is done. The Bengals just aren't playing with the same heart they had last year. Where's John Kitna? Oh yah, Bench. Cleveland has played better these last couple of weeks with a running game, and will stick it to Cincinnati. Bengals 20, Browns 24.

Denver @ Oakland: Miserably inconsistent Denver, even though they're 4-1, struggle against good defenses. Oakland wont let them pound it up the tackles like Carolina let them do last week. Oakland needs to get something going with Collins, and Kerry has to play like he did when he took over for Gannon quickly, or the Raiders can piss their possible playoffs hopes down the drain. Broncos 17, Raiders 20.

Pittsburgh @ Dallas: Big Ben is getting it done, so's the defense. 'nuff said. Dallas is looking a little shakey there. They ran all over the place last week, but don't let that fool you, they still don't have a rushing game. Steelers 27, Cowboys 24.

Minnesota @ New Orleans: Should be an impressive aerial battle, because the Vikings can score at will, but can't really stop anybody. 'Aints have a slightly better defense, and a slightly less effective offense. Slugfest, but the 'Aints are done. Vikings 27, Saints 26.

Tampa Bay @ St. Louis: Bucs are playing with little or no heart, but they found something last week with Brian Griese quarterbacking. Rams defense is pretty bad, so the Bucs may be able to score on them. Bucs will also bring a lot of pressure on Bulger, and we may see the Marc Bulger who can't handle the pressure that we know and love this week. My heart wants to tell me that the Bucs will destroy the Rams with defensive schemes, revenge for my Seahawks, but I am not so sure. I'll go out on a limb. Bucs 20, Rams 17.

Last Week: 9-5
Season: 48-26

---------------------------------

Carolina at Philadelphia - GET YO POPCORN RDY
Cincinnati at Cleveland - Homer pick duh
Green Bay at Detroit - GB looked TERRIBLE last week, like, SF bad
Houston at Tennessee - McNair back means Tennessee is gtg again
Kansas City at Jacksonville - KC is back on track, and Jacksonville won't be able to stop Holmes
Miami at Buffalo - This game could end in a 0-0 tie, but I'll put money on Buffalo scoring a defensive touchdown somewhere and that should be enough to win by itself.
San Diego at Atlanta - Upset sorta, Vick bandwagon is going to come crashing down if he doesnt start shaping up (seriously 4 fumbles and an INT last week)
Seattle at New England - Should be a good game, but the Seahawks always seem to choke when it matters
San Francisco at N.Y. Jets - Chad Pennington vs TIMMY TIM Rattay. Predicting Penning to Moss for a few scores (none so far this season whaz, yet the JETS still 4-0).
Washington at Chicago - This game bites and I hate both teams cuz they always look shitty when you pick them, then win when you don't.
Denver at Oakland - Nother boring game, Picked Denver cuz of Kerry Collins.
Pittsburgh at Dallas - homer pick cuz BIG BEN is from Miami (OH)
Minnesota at New Orleans - lol AINTS

Monday Night
Tampa Bay at St. Louis - Griese will suck, book it.

On a side note, I haven't seen that many bullshit calls in a while.

Me either, but there's no sense whining about it. It doesn't matter now.

Final score was 23 - 20, that extra touchdown by Dillon was just for fantasy leagues. After that deep bomb pass, the game was over.

I agree the refs tried to keep the Seabags in the game. Maybe it was all the false starts and droped passes that did them in. Only call I didn't agree with was Robinson getting flagged for taunting but then again Brady got thrown into the ground clearly after the ball was gone and no call there. Yeah the Pats got all the breaks.

Do you actually know that little about football Zanypher? What did you expect them to do? Take a knee? No maybe kick a fg on 2nd down, yeah that's what they should have done. The Seabags were getting the ball back so why not go up by 2 scores instead of 1.

Because it didn't matter. With only one time out left, the Seahawks couldn't have stopped them from running almost all the time off the clock. Add in an extra field goal on 4th down with, say, maybe 40 seconds left, if the Seahawks keep their time out, 20 or less seconds left.

Point is, if they'd have stopped that deep ball from being thrown on 3rd and 8, they'd have had the ball back with a greater chance of victory and time.

After the deep ball, it was academic that the Patriots were going to win. Field goal or no field goal, touchdown or no touchdown. There wouldn't have been any time left to do anything.

Sure, you can probably argue that the > 40 seconds the Seahawks would have had left would have been enough, but Im not one of those people. It is easier to go for the win with 2+ minutes left and no time outs then 40 or less left and no time outs. The march the Seahawks did down the field after the touchdown was pointless as well, seeing as how the Patriots weren't serious about stopping them. You saw the clock management the Hawks used on that drive too: virtually none. They used a minute and 40 seconds to get down to the red zone.

Wouldn't have been enough time.

Thats why the touchdown is pointless. It was really irrelevant compared to the 3rd down bomb beforehand.

This will probably be McNabb's only "off-week" when it comes to TD production. Lame !
