Cannibia level 65 douchebag of Watchers

Female dorf cleric of Watchers. Liar, scumbag, and just generally a fucked up person.

He (male IRL) was once a member of our guild, Agony. He was part of our group as we plowed into the Elemental Planes (thus we got him all his flags/some loot).

However, he stopped logging on. People in the guild wondered where he was. He posted this on our board Dec 2, 2003..

Well what happened is i fell off a well let me re-phrase that i was blown off a 40 foot ladder..Lots o bruises 2 broken legs slipped disk OWWIE anyways ill be back as soon as i feel im recovered enough to sit in a chair and play just wanted to give a heads up

People sent their regards, and offered to help the person Cannibia in other ways, IRL, if he needed help (cards, cookies, whatever).

HOWEVER, it came to our attention recently that Cannibia server moved over to Brell-Serilis. Whats MORE amusing, is that Cannibia put in a app to a guild on your server BEFORE he/she/it posted on our board saying he had a work injury... (Post on http://pub28.ezboard.com/bwatchers) at Nov 16, 2003:

I'm not trying to put someone down for server transfering. Thats fine. But if Cannibia wanted to server transfer he should have had the balls to just say he was leaving and do it. Instead he made a lot of people feel sorry for him, and bailed. He played a lot of people, and when someone tried to ask him about it, he laughed at them

Oh but Roshen you forgot so many things!

Normally I don't get involved in garbage like this, because quite frankly I don't care. However there is one thing I can't tollerate and thats a liar, especially a chronic liar like Cannibia.

Roshen left out the incidents on our own server where Cannibia went Anonymous and raided with another guild, during our raid time. Then when questioned, didn't respond, and when he finally did respond he claimed it was "his brother" playing.

Within a day, he deguilded and apped to that guild, then withdrew his app and came back to our guild. (This was the first sign of a problem).

Overall, as a PLAYER, Cannibia has and always was a good cleric, but this isn't about his play ability, its about him lying, vanishing into thin air compounded by a lie, and lack of respect.

Had Cannibia just said he didn't want to play on Vazaelle and was going to transfer, we would have wished him well, but thats not the case instead he had his claimed "wife" login to our boards and post this.

well where has cannibia been? well this is not him this is his wife he was in a bad work accident and i mean bad so he wont be playin anytime soon i logged him on though and he was no longer in agony why dunno? i checked his alt wizzy and was on but doent matter he will be be back up to you guys i giess if ya will take him back when he decides hes able to play again..He just asked me to tell ya guys and dont forget the battle cleric

Yet another lie, as marked in bold... a ploy for his "wife" to start feeding the seed that WE guildremoved him, and its our fault so why stick around.

Oh wait, here's a screenshot from yesterday after this info came about.... note his last login time, oh and of course that he's still guilded (imagine that). For those that don't know, when you transfer cross server it doesn't pull you from your previous guild automatically, an officer or the leader has to remove you, and we never did.



Then after many guild members offered up support, financial aid, and legal assistance to help him (as we tend to be attached to our members and many of us have hung out together in real life), he then followed up with this post as "himself".

However his application to Watchers was posted on November 16th 2003. Also in his reason for leaving his previous guild (which he hadn't even done yet, he was still guilded) was because of stagnant raiding... I guess progressing through PoP on a daily basis is stagnant... silly me to think otherwise.

Now I wasn't a math major, but it looks like his app was posted almost 2 weeks before his "I was injured pity me pity me pity me" post... at which case he said when he recovers he'd be back playing (yet, another lie).

The point behind all this, is that for the most part no one cares that Cannibia transfered, we all need to do whats best for us. The reason this is such an issue is because we JUST found out this week, and it wasn't Cannibia who told us, we had to stumble upon this ourselves.

Meanwhile the guild is asking about him, asking if there is anything they can do, asking if anyone knows how to get ahold of him to see if he's alright (because afterall he was involved in a major work accident right, why wouldn't we be concerned?)

In the end, he's just a liar... all you had to do was tell us you wanted to leave Cannibia, but instead you took the bitch approach, lied to us AGAIN, and we eventually found out.

Gratz Watchers, you have a good "player" on your hands, but you have a dishonest and disrespectful one as well.

He left us with no warning, what makes you think he won't leave you too....

In the end, its all about trust.

Okay, only been around for one year at the time of this posting, 65, 359 AAs, and part of an elemental raiding guild.... who the fuck PLed this guy? I want their name, number, bribing charges, and vow of servitude. I know we've got some crazy motherfuckers on this server that'll PL beastlords, frogloks, and berserkers to 65 the first week they're out, but still...

And on a second note... who is this guy? How come I've never run across them once until I looked at this thread?

Canni is the kind of person I want in my guild....not only my server. There was obviously some reason Canni felt the need to not only leave your guild.....but your server. Perhaps you need to reflect on that. Canni is happy on Brell....and happy to be in Watchers....and we are happy to have him and that is all that matters.

I'm not sure how many tells you've recieved, but I appoligize for them. We're not trying to harass the Watchers.

However, we DO want you to know the KIND of person you have on hand. We're not trying to put down Cannibia for leaving our guild OR our server. Thats fine. But its the WAY Cannibia chose to do it, thats questionable.

Gee.. See you have people like Nadia in Watchers, which makes me have HUGE respect for your guild, but then you say crap like that and then you look no better then any other hack guild out there. Isn't it worth your time to talk to these people and see if you did get scum from another server?

As Kula said, consider them informed.

They know what he did, they can make up their own minds just as you can. Watchers has every right in the world to balance what they hear about the guy and what they know about the guy and make their own decisions. Why the fuck would the give two shits what you think about that decision?

I am not defending the guy for the way he left his old guild/server. Its not my place, its his. However his currently guild (a guild with difficult recruitment process) found him worthy and seem to still do. Belaboring the point only seems like his former guild and you won't be happy with anything less than the guy being booted from Watchers. But since that is their decision and they don't seem to give a shit about his lying to his old guild on a different server, I can't see why anyone else would.

Watcher's reputations is as clean as anyone's in my opinion and them letting in a server transfer cleric and giving him the benefit of the doubt is their choice. But it would be enough for me.

Ask yourself this.

Are you in Watchers?
Do you raid with Watchers?
Do you group with Canni?

If not, why do you care?

Blinded by ignorance... and surely, if someone sends a tell from my server, by all means, report them... hell, send me a tell about it cause I'll rip into them too. This isn't about YOU, or about WATCHERS .. its about Cannibia.

Imagine how we felt, we all loved Cannibia, like you do, he was known as the guilds battle cleric, it was his nickname .. and then yesterday we found out he stabbed us in the back, after 3 months of a sob story about a work accident, without not enough honor and faith to inform the guild he was leaving, we had to find out on our own.

I hope he works out well for you.... who knows, maybe he'll just up and leave your server when he's ready without giving you notice too. Maybe he'll come up with a better lie this time, his history has shown his ability to lie, its only a matter of time before he burns someone else too.

However sending tells to us while we are raiding, and bringing this to the Rant board was the wrong way to go with us.
