Interesting how you can claim "favoritism". That really baffles me.

Talaena if anything would have been the beneficiary of favoritism - he's better known, has a good rep, doesn't have any real enemies on the boards (apart from Cleptow) that I know of, and none of the Mods hate him that I'm aware of. Hell, I roomed with the guy at the Seattle FanFaire (and Hethral too). This other guy with the meat grinder pic, I don't know if any of the mods even know who he is. I sure don't.

I think familiarity worked against Tala this time -- the mods knew he knew better because he's an old hand. They gave the unknown, I think, the benefit of the doubt that he was just ignorant.
